The problem: An old, rotting, slippery (when wet) deck; Homeowner wanted to replace it with a much larger deck with more privacy and a couple of Pergolas. The house sits on a hillside. Stairs were needed to get from street level to home's living level.
The solution: Starting with the owners preliminary drawings, we drew up plans for PRMD and built the structure pictured below using 500 sq ft of Trex for the stairs, landings, and deck. The framing is pressure treated doug fir; the rest is Redwood con heart. |
