This project involved a complete update, inside and out, of a 1700 sq ft, 2 BR, 2BA home outside Guerneville. We got together with the owner and incorporated her ideas into a set of Plans for the County and for us to work from. There was a tiny 8’ x 6’ kitchen, and a separate dining room; We took out some walls to open it all into a large open kitchen/dining/living room. One of the bedrooms was only 9ft x 9ft, adjacent to a small office; another wall came down to double its size. The other bedroom was over 400 sq ft; we built a wall down the middle, added some closets, lighting, and receptacles. The house now had 3 BR, 2 BA. Outside, we put in a Cultured Stone Retaining wall and Trex deck in back and replaced/redesigned a couple of decks in front. With new paint, carpets, tile, cabinets, and lighting it now looks and feels like a brand new home throughout
